Use this checklist privately. Do not put passwords, recovery codes or identity
documents in it. ProfileTrace does not receive your completed checklist.

1. FIND CANDIDATES
[ ] Review saved logins and old signup emails yourself.
[ ] List public usernames you remember using.
[ ] Search those handles for candidate public profiles.
    A public search is not a complete inventory of accounts tied to your email.

2. CONFIRM OWNERSHIP
[ ] Compare the public profile with what you remember.
[ ] Sign in or use the platform's official recovery process.
    Similar names or avatars do not prove ownership.

3. DECIDE WHAT TO KEEP
[ ] Export data you want to retain.
[ ] Review subscriptions, app-store billing, balances and linked services.
[ ] Check whether the action affects a profile, blog, channel or parent account.

4. FOLLOW PLATFORM GUIDANCE
[ ] Read the source label and account scope in the directory.
[ ] Confirm current instructions on the platform before acting.
[ ] Review deactivation, deletion, retention and recovery consequences.
[ ] Complete the process yourself on the platform.

5. RECORD THE OUTCOME
[ ] Keep the platform's confirmation privately.
[ ] Note any pending steps and set your own reminder.
    A missing search result does not prove deletion. Public copies may remain.
