TikTok Fake Manager Outreach: Account Verification Workflow
An agency-style TikTok message can offer a sponsorship while asking for files, account access or an upfront fee. Confirm who is making the offer before starting the deal.
Confirm the company and campaign
- Compare the sender’s handle with the brand or agency’s published accounts.
- Compare the email domain with the business’s established website, then contact the business through a published address.
- Ask that contact to confirm the campaign, referenced TikTok account and sender’s role.
- Keep a written agreement before exchanging project files or payment. Do not send passwords or recovery codes to an outreach account.
Keep the offer and its contradictions
- Save the profile URL, messages and email headers with dates.
- Include unknown-domain attachments or links, personal-wallet payment requests and demands to bypass a contract.
- Note the official contact used for confirmation and the specific company or campaign claim that did not match.
