Check the giveaway announcement

  1. Open the streamer’s known Twitch channel and compare the exact handle, panels and linked website.
  2. Look for the giveaway announcement in the stream, official chat or another established creator account.
  3. Ask a known moderator to confirm unfamiliar prize instructions through the creator’s usual channel.
  4. Read the entry rules. Pause requests to pay an eligibility fee, share a login code or disclose a wallet seed phrase.
  5. Check messages such as “use this backup account” or “do not ask in chat” against the public announcement.

What to include in a report

  • The channel, giveaway post and destination URL.
  • Dated screenshots of payment, wallet or credential requests.
  • The streamer’s announcement or moderator confirmation used for comparison.
