Compare the account and the request
- Compare the full
/user/profile URL and spelling with the known account. - Read upload dates, captions and comments for copied media or conflicting claims.
- Compare outbound links with the established account’s published pages.
- Confirm a request for money or private contact through the known account before responding.
Build a record that survives a changed post
- Save direct links to the suspicious posts and comments, plus the profile URL.
- Capture the handle, copied content and relevant messages with timestamps.
- Include original post and profile URLs so a reviewer can compare them, and explain which request or claim caused concern.
