How do I find a Leerlingen forum member?
Use Member List, then Search Members to enter a full or partial username, when those controls are available. You can also open a member’s name from a post to reach their public profile.
Search members rather than help articles
The forum’s member-list instructions describe a Search Members link that accepts a username or part of one. The search box on the FAQ page searches help text instead. If you already have a discussion by the person you want, opening their name is another route to the profile.
Check what the profile actually says
The public-profile help distinguishes the member’s supplied details from statistics such as registration date and post count. Use the discussion context to decide whether you reached the intended account; a matching name alone does not prove ownership.
A missing listing is not a deleted account
The FAQ says administrators control whether the member list is available and which members appear. If a name is absent, ask the owner for their profile link rather than concluding the account has gone.

Check a public handle across sites
You can separately check a public handle across supported sites. A matching name alone does not establish account ownership.
