Find a Framapiaf Account from Another Server
Locate a Framapiaf contact without confusing the server address with a display name.

Do I need a Framapiaf account to find someone there?
Framapiaf is part of the Mastodon network. Use the person’s full account address or profile URL in your own Mastodon search; the server name matters, because the same local username can exist elsewhere.
Keep the server in the address
Ask the contact for their complete public account address or a profile link. Paste that into the search on your Mastodon server. Check that the destination belongs to framapiaf.org rather than another server with a similar local name.
Closed registration is a different question
The Framapiaf introduction describes a federated service and currently says registrations are closed. That notice is about creating an account; it does not establish that an existing contact has left.
If your search does not resolve it
Try the profile link in a browser and ask the owner to confirm their current address. Cross-server search depends on the servers involved. A missing result is not proof of deletion.

Check a public handle across sites
Check only public handles across supported sites. Compare results with links the account owner has chosen to share; a matching name alone does not confirm who owns an account.
First search free. Signup keeps your username ready; you choose when to search. Public profiles only—no private or paywalled content.
