Find a Laracasts Discussion Contributor

Reach the contributor through the reply they wrote.

How do I find the author of a Laracasts reply?

Open the original Laracasts discussion and follow the author’s linked name. Save the contributor link separately from the discussion or reply link, so you can return to the person rather than one conversation.

Use the discussion as your starting point

The Laracasts discussion area links contributors from its discussion and reply listings. Follow the name attached to the reply you mean. The discussion title, channel and reply address help you keep the context.

Separate learning content from community activity

A course or episode page identifies learning material; it is not the same thing as a discussion contributor’s account. When someone gives you only a name, ask for a discussion they participated in or their profile link.

Use the original contribution to assess its relevance to your question. A matching handle on another development site does not establish that the same person wrote it.

Check a public handle across sites

You can separately check a public handle across supported sites. Compare results with a link the account owner has shared; a matching name alone does not confirm ownership.
